Submission and Selection Process

Q: How many designs should I submit for consideration? A: We recommend submitting up to 5 of your best artwork pieces. However, you're welcome to submit as many designs as you feel comfortable sharing.

Q: Are there any specific technical requirements for artwork submissions? A: We accept all forms of artwork submission. However, please be mindful of the file quality you're sending. Our designers need to work with high-quality files for production. If we cannot work with the submitted file, we may need to consider alternative designs.

Q: Can artists from outside your country participate in the collaboration? A: Absolutely! We're excited to work with artists from around the globe. While international payments may require additional steps, we're committed to ensuring all our collaborators are compensated fairly and promptly.

Timeline and Process

Q: What's the typical timeline from submission to final product launch? A: Our current timeline from concept to production is approximately 3 months. This includes the design selection, any necessary modifications, production, and preparation for launch.

Q: How are artists involved in the marketing and promotion of their collaborative products? A: We encourage artists to share their collaboration on their own platforms. Additionally, ERC will provide promotional packages for giveaways that artists can use to run campaigns for their audience. This collaborative approach helps maximize exposure for both the artist and ERC.

Compensation and Rights

Q: How are artists compensated for their work? A: Artists receive a 10% royalty on every sale of their collaborative product. Payments are made on a quarterly basis, with artist payments going out every January, April, July, and October.

Q: Do artists retain any rights to their designs after the collaboration? A: Artists will be asked to sign a release form and agreement indicating that Explore Rebel Create becomes the owner of the design for use on our products. However, we respect the artist's creative work and are open to discussions about specific usage rights.

Charity Aspect

Q: How does the charity selection process work? A: Artists can choose a charity to receive 50% of the profits from their collaborative product. We ask that selected charities be ethical and not involved in political movements. We're happy to discuss options and provide guidance in selecting an appropriate charitable organization.

Collaboration Details

Q: What happens if my submitted design needs modifications? A: We work directly with artists to follow structured design requirements. If changes are needed, we appreciate flexibility from the artist. We're always sensitive to the creative process and open to compromise to ensure both parties are satisfied with the final design.

Q: Is there a limit to how many times an artist can collaborate with Explore Rebel Create? A: Not at all! We're open to collaborating with artists multiple times. As ERC grows, previous collaborators may want to work with us again for increased exposure.

Q: Are there any exclusive agreements artists need to be aware of? A: While we become the owners of the specific design used for our products, we don't require general exclusivity from our artists. However, we do ask that the exact design created for ERC not be used for other clothing brands during our collaboration period. We're always open to discussing any concerns about exclusivity to ensure a mutually beneficial partnership.

A: We provide guidance throughout the design process, assist with adapting designs for production, and offer marketing support for the product launch.
